New Aldi store to open in Cardigan

A reliable source within the current Aldi store in Cardigan has confirmed the rumours that a new store is being planned for the scrubland around Maes Y-derwen, near the location of the new medical building in Cardigan town centre.

Considering the size of the available land in that location, and the supermarkets growing popularity, it's also safe to assume that the new store will be larger, and have a greater range of products on offer.
This new store cannot come soon enough. During our last visit to the store, the car park was almost completely at a standstill, as a large delivery truck was parked directly in front of the store, over double yellow lines, bringing the already cramped car park to a frustrating halt. inside, the small store was cramed with more people than it could handle.
However, the staff member we spoke to commented that the new location would have a better designed car park and delivery zone, vastly improving upon The current terrible state of parking at Aldi.
